Roman “Steroman” Cacitti. Born on august 1989 in Paris
France, where he still lives, after a long stay in Japan,
where he will get his inspiration for his avatar :
“Steroman”
From a musician family, he practising music by himself
since he was 14 (bass, guitar, sing) he started with bass,
wich might be why he can’t imagine a melody without the
groove that goes along with.
He writes, compose, and play almost every instrument. He
also sing and produce himself everything in “Steroman”
project. He uses no sample.
After a first record more “ballad” he started a turn toward
French-touch, mixing his original melodies with more
robotic sounds, closer to his character.
The costume doesn’t intend in completely remove Roman,
but to force the listener to dissociate sound and image, and
to stay focus on what he’s listening to.
His influences are wide, from Led Zeppelin to Chromeo,
Daft-Punk, funkadelic, Lenny Kravitz, Remy Shand or
Satie… He’s a music listener, before being a producer.
